Education and intellectual development are the top priorities for Level UP Enrichment's mentorship program, because mental preparedness is the foundation of a capable and motivated citizen. Education and intellectual development help create a solid foundation for mentees.
Economic Empowerment
Our economic empowerment programs and initiatives foster financial literacy, career development, financial planning, investment management, and fiscal responsibility. Exposing our mentees to entrepreneurial skills and strategies also provides beneficial, transferable knowledge. This knowledge helps establish a firm foundation that they can later build upon for business development and wealth creation.
Self-Esteem, Self-Image, & Self-Confidence
Level UP's mentors aim to help mentees' develop healthy self-esteem, self-image, and self-confidence. Self-esteem is how we feel about ourselves. Self-image is how we think others see us. Self-confidence is the ability to trust in our skills and abilities, which creates a sense of control. Having healthy self-esteem, self-image, and self-confidence can influence the mentee's motivation, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. Building strength in these areas helps the mentee set appropriate boundaries to maintain healthy relationships.
Community Involvement
Community involvement gives the mentee an opportunity to foster a closer bond with their community. Volunteering helps students enhance their personal knowledge, develop interpersonal skills, and gives them the opportunity to grow from new experiences. This experience is meant to build character and teach new skills.
