Our tutors support the whole child by focusing on the development of our students through high quality innovative intervention and progress monitoring. Our tutors provide special direction to students who have been identified as at risk of failing in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science.
We Know How to Teach Fundamentals
Our team of tutors teaches students how to understand the foundations of core subjects in a group setting. Our tutors' academic and life experiences enable them to effectively explain concepts and help students.
We Concentrate On Students' Learning Needs
Our tutors use current assessment information to determine what each child knows and what they need to learn. Next, we create a lesson teaching the concepts that the student needs to master. In addition, our tutors continually document progress to make sure students fully understand and retain the concepts they have been taught.
We Help Overcome Academic Frustration
Our tutors set aside time to assist with classwork and homework. We help students understand concepts taught in the classroom and assignments so they can be prepared to complete the work independently.
We Incorporate STEM in Our Curriculum
Our tutors help students develop higher level thinking skills by discussing STEM concepts and STEM vocabulary. Students work together to plan, find, and use evidence, and problem solve to familiarize themselves with the scientific method and to learn collaborative skills.
